Singer, Songwriter, and Producer

Madge is a singer, songwriter, and producer known for her/their experimental approach to pop music. Raised in Utah, she began playing piano competitively at a young age and developed songwriting skills in an orthodox religious setting. After studying performance art at New York University, Madge relocated to Los Angeles to focus on their music career. They debuted in 2018 with the EP Fight or Flight Club, introducing a distinctive blend of synth and electronic pop. Collaborations with artists like Kaskade on tracks such as "Tight" and "Fun" shortly thereafter showcased their versatility and distinctive aesthetic. In 2020, Madge released the EP Ethanol (Multiverse, Vol. 2), further exploring the pop boundaries with glitchcore elements, helping establish the genre now known as hyperpop. In 2024, the artist released a major collaboration with Riot Games’ Valorant for new game agent Clove and performed at the Valorant World Championships in Seoul. Madge also released upwards of twenty independent tracks that year, many of which organically landed on editorial playlists. Beyond her solo work, Madge has collaborated with a diverse array of pop and underground artists, including Slayyyter, Pussy Riot, Portugal. The Man and Brooke Candy. Their commitment to challenging industry norms and creating fluid, genre-defying music has established Madge as a distinctive voice in the hyperpop scene and beyond.

  • Debut EP – Fight or Flight Club (2018): Introduced their experimental pop sound with a synth-forward debut that set the tone for Madge’s boundary-pushing approach to music. Title track charted on Spotify Viral 50.
  • Genre-Bending Features with Electronic, Indie, and Pop Artists: Featured on tracks like Kaskade’s “Tight” and “Fun,” blending electronic, pop, and house influences. Teamed up with Portugal. The Man, Kamiyada+, carpetgarden, and Girli among others for debut LP BOXJAR in 2023.
  • Hyperpop Pioneering with Ethanol (Multiverse, Vol. 2) (2020): This EP helped establish hyperpop as a genre, landing on the original Spotify Hyperpop Playlist and regularly playing on BBC Radio1’s Future Artists program. 
  • Activist Collaboration with Pussy Riot: Teamed up with Pussy Riot on tracks “Riot” and “Panic Attack”, the latter a landmark sale in the NFT community to raise funds for BLM and Ukraine. 
  • Viral Pop Song and International Arena Performance with Riot Games (2024): Wrote the charting song “2WORLDS” in collaboration with Valorant game franchise for the debut of non-binary agent Clove. Performed at the Valorant World Champs Opening Ceremony in Seoul later in the year.
  • Award Winning Music Video for “shiversucker”: Self and independently produced music video directed by Tantron won Ciclope Best Music Video as well as top honors at the Shots Festival, D&AD, and Young Director Awards among others.
